Hello and welcome back to the blog! The most popular kids worksheets on the blog are single-digit activities. So, I've come back with another single-digit addition activity worksheet In this single-digit addition activity worksheet there are 6 blocks with two activities: choose the correct number sum the visual shows write the answer for the sum You can cut out the 6 individual blocks, and if you want to laminate them so you can reuse it, and your child can attempt the individual single-digit addition activity. To print the worksheet, right-click the image and save it to your computer. Then you can print as you normally would. The sheet is an A4  size. This handwriting printable worksheet is a brilliant way to help kids with their handwriting, the sheet teaches kids how different letters should be written, which ones are tall, normal and go low. The sentences are simple so can also be a great reading exercise for kids.  The worksheet is in US Letter size. Writing Letters: Letter D Worksheet

 The writing letters posts that I put up for letters: A , B and C have been really popular and highly liked so I wanted to add to those sheets by posting a letter D worksheet. Most people who view my posts are from the US which is why from this sheet onwards they will all be in a US Letter format so that it is easier to print. But, if you want to print A4 you should be able to adjust into you printer settings.  What I really like about these worksheets is that they are perfect way to help young learners who are learning their alphabet and learning to write. The letters are really big on the page making it easy for the child to learn letter formation and practice their writing skills. You can print it out on both sides of the paper, this way the child can practice tracing over a couple of times.  Like with all these writing letter sheets you can encourage the child to use a range of different materials to trace using - pencil, crayon, markers, glitter and glue and paint....

This week's free worksheet is: 10 more / less.  It has been a couple of months since I posted a worksheet but I have created one that I would like to share with you today 😀. Hopefully, you will find this resource useful and it will aid your child's learning.  10 more / less is an activity that kids in grade 1 / 2 can attempt and for those in the UK this is a great activity for kids in year 2 / 3 to attempt. Depending on the ability of your child and their progress in their learning you can determine if this is an appropriate activity. I It is always a great idea to ensure you are aware of ,before the school year starts, what your child will be covering in the academic year. The 'acronym or synonym' worksheet below is a great way to help build a child's vocabulary as they learn new words for words they may already know and use.   Word searches were my absolute favourite activities to do when I was in Primary School (UK) they were incredibly fun and engaging and when you did them with other kids it was a fun little competition. Which is why I created a Year 2 English Terms word search sheet to make it fun and exciting for kids to learn. This is a great activity for kids to do that's both interesting, less challenging but they're still learning. Writing Upper Case A-Z Worksheet

 It's been a while since I've done a writing letter worksheet post so I wanted to post an A-Z writing worksheet that you can print out and children 3-5 can use to help them with their writing practice. The worksheet can be used at home, a preschool or another education setting for young learners who are learning to write. Another great thing about the worksheet is that it teaches the child letter formation, fine motor skills, pencil control and grip so it is really good for those around 3-5 who are learning to use a pencil.  I would highly recommend either laminating the sheet or buying a plastic sheet to put on top of the worksheet and taping it down on the table so that the child can use it to practice multiple times rather than printing the sheet several times. You can bring this out every single day for 5-10 minutes and let the child attempt writing the letters so that they can get a little bit of practice each day - they might do a few letters each day or attempt the same...
