Hello and Welcome to another educational printable resource! For this post, I have created a sentence writing practice worksheet. This handwriting printable worksheet is a brilliant way to help kids with their handwriting, the sheet teaches kids how different letters should be written, which ones are tall, normal and go low. The sentences are simple so can also be a great reading exercise for kids.  The worksheet is in US Letter size. This is the first writing practice worksheet printable I have created so I would love any feedback and happy to take recommendations for future resources.  Additional Resources: You can also check out the alphabet tracing worksheet below with both uppercase and lowercase letters to trace over and practice handwriting. Writing Letters: Letter D Worksheet

The writing letters posts that I put up for letters: A , B and C have been really popular and highly liked so I wanted to add to those sheets by posting a letter D worksheet. Most people who view my posts are from the US which is why from this sheet onwards they will all be in a US Letter format so that it is easier to print. But, if you want to print A4 you should be able to adjust into you printer settings.  What I really like about these worksheets is that they are perfect way to help young learners who are learning their alphabet and learning to write. The letters are really big on the page making it easy for the child to learn letter formation and practice their writing skills. You can print it out on both sides of the paper, this way the child can practice tracing over a couple of times.  Like with all these writing letter sheets you can encourage the child to use a range of different materials to trace using - pencil, crayon, markers, glitter and glue and paint. All of these

Managing Time Activity Worksheet

Welcome back to the blog with another worksheet! This worksheet is a comprehension worksheet, as you would know from the last worksheet I did which was on saving money (link to it here) I like to do comprehension sheets that focus around life skills . Aside from learning facts or reading stories and building knowledge of those texts it is important that texts children read also focus around skills that they should be learning so that they can thrive when they enter adulthood.  Actively teaching your kids life skills be that through texts, programmes or by getting them involved in tasks at home is a great way to build independence, resiliency and self-sufficiency as they get older.  You can make your own list of life skills that you want your child to focus on learning depending on their age and ability. Doing this will make it easier for you to identify and organise resources that can be used for your child to start developing those key skills. This can perhaps be an activity that y

10 More / Less Worksheet

This week's free worksheet is: 10 more / less.  It has been a couple of months since I posted a worksheet but I have created one that I would like to share with you today 😀. Hopefully, you will find this resource useful and it will aid your child's learning.  10 more / less is an activity that kids in grade 1 / 2 can attempt and for those in the UK this is a great activity for kids in year 2 / 3 to attempt. Depending on the ability of your child and their progress in their learning you can determine if this is an appropriate activity. I It is always a great idea to ensure you are aware of ,before the school year starts, what your child will be covering in the academic year. I would recommend having a discussion with your child's teacher and see if they can provide a simple list of topics they hope to cover in the classroom in that school year, if you are a teacher then it would be beneficial for you, the child and the parent to share the list of topics that will be covered
