1-10 Activity Worksheets

Activity activity sheets are a great way to teach kids and help them to learn. The activity sheets below are simple, easy and quick to use. You can just print them out and work through them along with your child and they'll take you 5-10 minutes.

Worksheets that are quick and simple like the ones in this post are super useful to your child as they make learning the information much easier since it is learnt in bitesize pieces so they can practice it and learn it a little bit at a time.

You can whip these worksheets out anytime during the day to give your child a quick learning exercise and to help them revisit the topics and concepts to keep it fresh in their mind and to give their mind a quick exercise.

So let's have a look at the worksheets:

Worksheet #1: this matching up exercise is a great warm up activity to get the kids brains going and its something that will work on their counting skills as well their knowledge of what the number is written as. I really like this sheet since its a simple activity that can be done to practice both counting and fine motor skills since the kids will have to draw the line to the correct number.

Worksheet #2: This is a fun game activity, cut out the number squares and get your kid to match up the numbers- you can get them to say the number out loud as they are matching them up. This will also make them get to learn the sequence of numbers as well. The kids can really interact with this activity since they'll be cutting it out so again working on their fine motor skills and when they're matching up they can glue the boxes with the matching number on.

Worksheet #3: This worksheet has 4 fill in the blank activities that your child can attempt to test them on their knowledge of the sequence of numbers 1-10 this activity is super engaging and challenging that gets kids to work on their resilience and their ability to remain positive. It also allows you to see how they're getting on with learning their numbers 1-10, you can also get them to say the numbers out loud as they write them in and once they complete the activity they can read all the numbers out loud.

The way to use this is to cut out each fill in the blank activity and get your child to do each activity one at a time.

To find more resources with 1-10 activity worksheets have a look at these posts

As I said at the start that its much better for your child to teach them content in bitesize pieces and to go over them regularly as it helps your child to retain that information and to understand it better.

An excellent resource I would recommend that would go really well with extending with the sheets posted is the '1-10 math addition worksheets' available in my Etsy shop. This has a lot of practice worksheets that range in difficulty from very easy to hard. The sheets are simple to use so you can get the child to do a sheet a day to help them understand how to add and what addition is. It is an excellent way to follow up from what the child has learnt through the 1-10 worksheets here and to help them expand their learning onto the next step.

The 'Learn & Write 1-10 worksheets' is another valuable resource that I would recommend which help kids to write their 1-10 and has useful resources that help a child to learn their numbers to 10. The resource is available here.

Another resource that I'd recommend you check out to help you track the content you've taught, how many times you've revisited it and how your child found the topic is the progress tracker down below that is available in my Etsy shop that you can purchase and keep yourself organised with teaching your child.

I hope that these activities and worksheets work well for you in helping your child learn their numbers 1-10 and that its super fun at the same time. Do let me know what you think in the comments down below. See you in my next post.
